Ekphrastic Poems

An ekphrastic poem is one written about another art form, most frequently a painting, sculpture, or visual art of some kind. These poems use the specific work of art as a "springboard" to their own metaphorical explorations and discoveries.

A series of posters combining high quality digital reproductions of the original paintings
by Eric Busch with the poems composed by Stephen A. Rozwenc are in production
and will soon be available for purchase on this site. A print of "The Oxbow" painting with its accompanying poem is now available. Go to the menu selection for further details.
